However my Aunt and Uncle accepted the challenge and instead sought more progressive methods of teaching him in Canada. These methods they took back to Portland and made a vital contribution to teaching the handicap in that area. Today at age 35 Cris has his own apartment and job and makes his contribution to society. Since Sep 17 of 1986 my sister-in-law and brother-in-law has a Downs baby named Clark Benson Perrins and they too have educated him beyond belief . Christopher had a book written about him, a fable, by a talented man in Portland.
