PRUITT, Robert Thomas
1918 - 1987 (68 years)-
Name PRUITT, Robert Thomas Birth 30 Mar 1918 Taintor, Mahaska, Iowa Gender Male Note - He was a protestand minister most of his life. His wife Meryl Green married 24 Apr 1942. They had 8 children, the oldest Ferman was adopted. Lanith and I attended this uncles funeral and all of his children and grandchildren were there. It was most unusual for us not being used to creamation and ashes being available for those in attendance to sprinkle among the strawberries. A flute was played and everyone followed to the garden for the funeral. The overall theme of his life, seemed to be 'It doesn't matter what you do, if it's what you want. The last several years he and Meryl were separated but good friends.
