Poage he was baptized James Smith Poage but traded middle names with his brother George Kirker (Smith) Poage. Dad says his place is still out on mill street. New data entering July 30th 1998. From Polk City Directories; Jas K Poage listed as a Carpenter from 1912 to 1917 residing at 1040 Arnold street in Portland Oregon. (note that all addresses in Portland changed in the mid thirties). In 1917 he was a 'cementworker'.
