Harry and Lela Cloe Sheue

Yes the child on the left is Harry. This picture was taken about 1898. 

On the right is Cloe again about two or three years later.

Cloe (Lela) and Harry were the only two children of

Thomas Sherman Sheue and Olive Jeanette Smith.

The family left the farm in Peoria Iowa and moved to

Iola Kansas about 1900. The discovery of natural gas

about this time turned Iola a boom town.
